Our small branch continues to grow as we continue to support the work of Coungeau House and introduce the community to Toc H, its history, goals and the main role of Coungeau House, the major project of Toc H Queensland.

Close to 200 community members visit the hall weekly for a variety of activities and many are strong supporters of the various functions that the Bribie Branch hosts.

A great afternoon of music of the 60s and 70s presented by the talented ladies of the U3A Disco Divas. Their music fills the room with the guests singing along and some even breaking into dance. Their rendition of “I am Woman” really excited the audience. Even the gentlemen attending joined in with the various actions demonstrated by the group.

The Annual Soup and Hoy evening was once again a great success. More than a dozen homemade soups provided by the wonderful Bribie Branch members again did more than satisfy the guests who enjoyed trying the variety of flavours. An entertaining session of Hoy followed the meal.

The World Chain of Light will again be celebrated at Coungeau House in December and will be followed by our Christmas breakup celebration.

We look forward to meeting with other Queensland Toc H members at some of the events to be held at Coungeau House later in the year.
