Connection and Fellowship at Toc H Queensland Day

Members gathered on the steps of Coungeau House for Toc H Queensland Day
Toc H Queensland Day, 16 May 2026

Toc H members from across Queensland came together at Coungeau House on 16 May 2026 for Toc H Queensland Day, a wonderful celebration of friendship, fellowship and service.

Around one fifth of Queensland’s members attended, enjoying the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, form new friendships and learn more about the projects, activities and community service being undertaken by branches across the state.

It was inspiring to hear about the many ways our members continue to bring the Toc H spirit to life within their local communities. The day also included a thoughtful donation made by Jeannie Lyttle in loving memory of her mother, a long-standing member and dearly missed individual, adding a particularly heartfelt and meaningful moment to the gathering.

In a slightly lighter — but no less official — piece of business, members also endorsed Nelly Dubravcic as the new mascot of the Toc H Brisbane Branch. Nelly’s election was warmly received and added plenty of fun to the occasion.

A major highlight of the day was the official launch of the new Toc H Queensland website. The redesigned website showcases our history, branches, projects and continuing community work, providing a valuable platform through which we can connect with current and prospective members and the wider community.

Special thanks must go to Queensland Treasurer and Brisbane Branch member Russel Gowrie, who generously donated his time, skills and countless hours to design and build the new website from the ground up. His dedication has created an engaging and informative new home for Toc H Queensland online. You can visit the new Toc H Queensland website at www.tochqld.org.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making Toc H Queensland Day such a special occasion. Events such as this remind us of the importance of connection, collaboration and fellowship within the Toc H family.

We hope Queensland Day will continue to grow in the years ahead, providing an even greater opportunity for members from across the state to come together, share their work and celebrate our common commitment to friendship and service.
